Il gonfiaggio avviene per mezzo di gas CO2 (anidride carbonica) contenuto in una piccola cartuccia sigillata costruita negli USA secondo le rigide norme della Air Transport Association of America, TSO-C-13e, ampiamente collaudata in tutto il mondo, assai semplice e quindi di assoluta affidabilità.

Per la realizzazione del cuscino viene impiegato un robusto tessuto sintetico spalmato di poliuretano.La cartuccia di CO2 è di minimo costo, ampia diffusione e facile reperibilità in qualunque negozio di biciclette o presso la grande distribuzione.

Gli ottimi materiali impiegati consentono al cuscino di rimanere completamente gonfio per ben oltre dodici ore.Dopo l’utilizzo il cuscino, sgonfiato completamente e ripiegato, è nuovamente pronto all’uso semplicemente con l’inserimento di una nuova cartuccia di CO2.

The inflatable shell is made of a rugged synthetic fabric bonded to pulyurethane. The excellent materials used keep the air mattress fully inflated for over twelve hours.

After use, the air mattress can be deflated and replaced in its pouch as before. With the insertion of a new CO2 cartridge, it is immediately ready for use again.
